Elisabetta Ferrari is a Senior Lecturer in Italian Studies in the School of Languages and Linguistics at the University of Melbourne. Following university studies in languages and literature at the Università degli Studi di Parma she completed a BA with Honours at Monash University and a Master of Arts in Cinema Management at the University of Melbourne. She has expertise in Italian cinema and is currently leading a research project on the Italian cinemas of Melbourne from the 1950s to the late 1970s.
Oscar Bloomfield is a doctoral student, film writer, and academic at Deakin University, where his research focuses on the cinema of Michelangelo Antonioni. Working at the intersection of critical and creative practice, his work examines how Antonioni's cinema captures the unknowability of reality. Beyond his doctoral work on Antonioni, Oscar maintains an unwavering curiosity in all things moving image.
