Joining Oscar-winning maverick producer Jeremy Thomas on his annual pilgrimage to the Cannes Film Festival, filmmaker Mark Cousins (The Story of Film) gives an intimate glimpse into the life of the legendary icon behind some of the most controversial and acclaimed films of all time.
Incorporating stories and musing about Thomas’s background, career, personality and love of cinema, and his work with directors Nicolas Roeg, Bernardo Bertolucci, David Cronenberg and most recently, Takashi Miike, this documentary lovingly celebrates the significant legacy of a veritable auteur of auteurs.
