Elsa is 40 years old and single. She’s always devoted herself to her work as a doctor, and has given up on the idea of romantic love in her life because of her unusual gift – she can see and speak to the dead. It’s a gift that she believes keeps her from genuinely connecting with others. But one fateful evening, Elsa meets Oscar (Jonathan Cohen, Once Upon My Mother). Funny and charming, Oscar is the first man to reignite a sense of hope in Elsa, but just when she starts falling for him, she begins to suspect that he’s unaware of his own mortal status.
This is a heartfelt, tender romantic comedy about the way that love pushes us to embrace the parts of ourselves that we believe are unlovable. Inspired by fellow supernatural romance films like The Ghost and Mrs Muir, Ghost and Meet Joe Black, this gentle, humorous and poetic film reminds us to live fully and fearlessly in the time we have on Earth.
